812 CONVENIENCE STORE
This project explores the role that convenience stores play in people's lives by illustration. In this work, the convenience store is defined as a sect in the city that could bring people a kind of spiritual companionship and comfort, because I think the spiritual comfort brought by convenience stores is similar to that brought by religion. I want to shape this sect through some features such as symmetrical layout, hierarchical division,and idol worship. Through this visual language, I want to show that convenience stores affect people both the material level and the spiritual level.
